What is MotherGrove... 

MotherGrove is 40 acres of pristine rustic Sanctuary is located in northern Newaygo county, secluded deep within the Manistee National Forest. Come join us and affirm your connection with Mother Earth through our daily rituals and workshops.

Camping is free and located within walking distance to the workshops, rituals , entertainment and vendor area. If you prefer not to camp, there are accommodations nearby.

It is for love of the earth that Mothergrove Sanctuary exists. We welcome all who come with an open mind and a loving heart. We strive to create a space where earth loving people can connect with their spirit selves.

         

The 5th Annual Summer Gathering

at the MotherGrove Sanctuary

July 17-20 2008

is a rustic four-day weekend retreat that will put you firmly in touch with yourself and the Goddess.

From the first magickal ritual to the last, we will find ways to connect you with your roots and exercise your wings.

Many of our workshops this year will focus on what one person can do to understand and alter one’s self.

We will be offering workshops, rituals, a community drum circle, storytelling and meditations. Friday evening includes entertainment featuring the Dark Gypsy Belly Dancers and a Butoh Theater Act. Saturday evening we have the Purple Green Flavor Drummers.

We will be showcasing merchants who will be offering you some of the most unique and varied items for your shopping pleasure.

Camping is available in beautiful meadows and wooded areas for tenting or RV’ing. NOTE: Although there is no electricity many cell phones do work.

MotherGrove will provide privies and excellent drinking water. However, there are no public shower facilities.

Meals are independent for the weekend during the day with community potlucks in the evenings.
